Success Stories
Kate
Kate has made an amazing come back after experiencing terrible lower back pain with sciatica after a run. Kate is a passionate long distance runner and thought her running days may be over, so this is what we set our goal to, return to long distance running 😀. She wore a different race shirt to every appointment to keep her focused on the goal. We are currently working on our return to running program, working on calf, Glute and back strength and introduction to running specific drills and plyometrics. At this rate, Kate will be back on the road in the next month and focusing our attention to a half marathon in August. Well Done Kate! We can’t wait to see you running that race
Bob
It has been fantastic to work with Robert over the past few months to get him back on track after ACL surgery. Robert has progressed through his rehab very well with a few minor set backs early on. He is now back jumping, lifting weights and on a return to running program. Robert has the goal of returning to touch, triathlons as well as Crossfit and at this rate will be doing that in the not to distant future. Congrats Bob!
Toni
Charlene has worked exceptionally hard over the past 12 weeks to get back to training with no pain. After an initial bad shoulder flare up from training we have worked hard to regain full range of motion and rebuild her strength, power and confidence to get back to lifting weights overhead. Charlene's amazing efforts both physically and mentally is why she is our Success Story of the month! Welldone Charlene!
Charlene
After a significant back pain episode, Toni ended up having a microdiscectomy surgical procedure done in January. Being passionate about exercise, Toni came to our clinic to get her rehab underway and return to doing what she loves. Toni started on our discectomy rehab program and has progressed fantastically. She is now lifting weights and back to the gym with partial restrictions. We cant wait to see Toni progress back to full, unrestricted training in the not to distant future.
Chloe
Chloe is an avid bodybuilder and was struggling with persistent groin and lower back pain when squatting. After running through our assessment protocols we established that Chloe was lacking some control through her squatting and struggled with her lateral hip strength. Our rehab and treatment program focused on developing better control at the bottom of the squat as well as improving her single leg strength and control. Chloe is now back training pain free 🙂
Jason
Looking at Jason, you wouldn’t guess he was in hospital due to debilitating back pain not to long ago. The last 6+ months Jason has worked exceptionally hard on his balance, strength, mobility and mindset to make sure he could return to @crossfit . Jason is currently living with no pain, training sustainably and getting back to his best. A big thanks to his amazing support crew @wiserstateofmind . Well done Jason, we can’t wait to see you grow from strength to strength! Dan and the team at Scope 💪
